Class N: Any Endler's Livebearer (and progeny) that can be shown to have originated from their native waters in the Cumana area of Venezuela will be considered a 'Class N' Endler.

Below is a list of Specific ( N Class Types ) and Register Keepers../Gallery
These are Native varieties that were consistant in traits.. Collected from
Specific locations and populations... ((Native Types)) .. Once I obtained
them, They were seperated according to variety and colony bred in large
containers = 600 GALs. These are ((TRUE Native Types that need to be Preserve)) !!!
Recent attemps made by Venezuelan Hobbiest have failed to locate
endlers of of these varieties from same locations..Only few Specimens
were observe with none specific traits..These hobbiest Reported =
((The abundance of endlers that once existed in these locations/Lagunas has dramatically declined to almost none existant !!))..

Original Type / Black Bar / Endlers Livebearer Poecilia Wingei

Defining Characteristics: Black bar on both sides of body, blue patch under dorsal. Sword and a half in caudal.
Body Type: Short / Stocky
History: This native type was collected from Laguna de los Patos North Lake and Laguna de los Patos South Lake in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred by AdrianHD. This is also the type we see in the hobby from John Endler’s 1975 collection trip.

Strain Developer: Adrian Hernandez
[b]Defining Characteristics: The distinguishing feature is the orange stripe on the side and
the peacock dot on the tail. The orange stripe can be solid or broken.
Body Type: Long - Slim
History: This native type was collected from Laguna de los Patos North Lake and Laguna la
Malaguena in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred by AdrianHD.

Original Red Chest / Endlers Livebearer / Poecilia Wingei
Name of Strain: 1997 Red Chest also called 1997 Orange Endler
ECS Strain Number: N-98-0010
ECS Class: N
Strain Developer: Adrian Hernandez (FL)
Defining Characteristics: It is very similar to the double red chest, The distinguishing
feature is the round monocle on top of pectoral fins, some times the is monocle very large
and will bleed into pectoral fins making them black paddle fins, only few males have black
pectorals.
Body Type: Short - Stocky
History: This native type was collected from Laguna la Malaguena and in the hyacinth stream
leaving Laguna de los Patos in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred by AdrianHD.

Original Double Red Stripe / Endlers Livebearer / Poecilia Wingei
Name of Strain: 1997 Double Red Stripe..
Closely related to Red Chest
ECS Strain Number: N-98-0011
ECS Class: N
Strain Developer: Adrian Hernandez (FL)
Defining Characteristics: The distinguishing feature is the round monocle on top of pectoral
fins, some times the monocle is very large and will bleed into pectoral fins making them
black paddle fins, only few males have black pectorals. The length of the red stripes may
vary along with the space between them.
Body Type: Short - Stocky
History: This native type was collected from Laguna la Malaguena and in the hyacinth stream
leaving Laguna de los Patos North Lake in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred
by AdrianHD.

Defining Characteristics: The distinguishing feature is the snake pattern on the chest and a
round monocle on top of pectoral fin, some times monocle bleeds into pectoral fins making
them show black paddle fins. Very few males have black pectorals.
Body Type: Short - Stocky
History: This native type was collected from Laguna la Malaguena, hyacinth stream leaving
Laguna de los Patos North Lake and Laguna de los Patos in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou

I have developed Five Strains of Wild Stock Flame Tails,
Picture below is variations of wild stock Flame Tails..
Name of Strain: 1997 Flame Tail
ECS Strain Number: N-98-0023
ECS Class: N
Strain Developer: Adrian Hernandez
Defining Characteristics: The distinguishing feature is the orange on the tail along with a
top yellow sword. The orange coloring on tail varies, exceptional males will have most of
the tail colored. There are two main body colors, one has more orange and the other has more
mint green.
Body Type: short - stocky
History: This native type was collected from Laguna de los Patos South Lake and Laguna la
Malaguena in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred by AdrianHD.

Name of Strain: 1997 Center Peacock
ECS Strain Number: N-98-0017

Strain Developer: Adrian Hernandez
Defining Characteristics: The distinguishing feature is the center peacock on base of tail,
the black stripe usually connects to peacock dot. Most often color is orange and black, it
is closely related to 1/2 tux and full tux. The black intensifies with water changes or when
flirting.
Body Type: Small , can be short or slender.
History: This native type was collected from Laguna la Malaguena and the Black Endler Pond
in 1997, 1998 and 2004 by Armando Pou and line bred by AdrianHD.
